NDS Video Game

I have visited forum after forum looking for a solution and nothing yet. I have the R4 Card with both a 2GB and a 4GB(SDHC) cards. I used the latest update and r4crypt to change the file from .nds to .dat.I put them on the cards and still it does not move from that black and white loading screen.

Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?

I had a similar problem with my R4 SDHC.

Here’s the solution that worked for me. First, I should mention that the R4 SDHC is a clone of the R4 and gets a lot of bad press as a result.

I managed to successfully get past the loading screen by formatting my 2 GB memory card as FAT instead of the default FAT32. I also did this on a Windows computer, instead of my regular Linux box.

Any memory chips over 2 GB need to be formatted as FAT32 and should work just fine. At least they have for me.

Nintendo updated DSi firmware to V1.4.2 few days before. Almost all flashcards were halt except Cyclo iEvo. It means, if you are a R4 3DS cards users, you can’t update your DSi console to V1.4.2, orelse, the R4 3DS card will can’t run.

I have been a DS R4 problem for a long time. My first R4 was a clone and it would have the problem of not being able to play certain games do to it being Untitled. I did have verything right on the clone and I blamed the problem on the fact that it was a clone.

now I have a new R4 III. I just got it in the mail today and I know it is not a fake. I put the latest firmware on it and reformatted the card and it is having the same problem as the fake did. I know it has the latest firmware and I know the card has no bad sectors. I reformatted it 5 different times and the same problem persists. The card is a R4 4G SDHC SanDisk and it is formatted as FAT32.

If no games worked, I would suspect bad sectors or bad firmware, but it’s the fact that some games work and most do not. The ones that do work have a picture icon. The ones that do not have Untitled. I would suspect the roms too but i’ve tried many different roms. And it’s not just new games, it’s old games as well.

I’m not positive what the R4 firmware version is, I think it is 3.36 for the R4 III that IS compatible with SDHC. There is a firmware for version 4.04 and 4.03 but it is for a different R4, I even tried them anyways. The website is r4dsl.com I tried using YSMenu but it doesn’t help anything either.
