I have 2 nintendo ds's and pokemon platinum and soul silver. How do I trade between pokemon platinum and pokemon soul silver. Do I have to have wi-fi or can you do it without?

Why aren't pokemon black version 2 and pokemon white version 2 going to be on the 3ds? I keep up with pokemon news and they are just going to be normal ds games. Why aren't they going to be 3ds games?
October 24th marks the first official Pokemon game on the Nintendo 3DS Game (aside from the Pokedex app), which is none other than Pokemon Rumble Blast. As we have mentioned before, this sequel or follow-up of sorts looks to utilize the same engine as the Pokemon Rumble WiiWare game, but with the full roster of the Unova Pokedex in tow.
Nintendo have finally released an English trailer for the game, showing off the wind-and-battle gameplay and the various bosses players will encounter. These bosses seem to be made up of larger versions of standard Pokemon, where you must use your own team’s elemental and physical advantages to overcome the said foe. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions, players can wirelessly transfer any one of their Pokémon from one of the two games to the Pokéwalker and walk them through virtual routes as the player walks around in real life. By walking, players earn Watts, which are used within the Pokéwalker to encounter and catch wild Pokémon or search for hidden items, and can be transferred into Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions to unlock new routes.
