NDS Video Game

I just dug up my old Acekard 2i purchased when the DSi was released and updated its firmware to AKAIO 1.8.8. When I boot the 3DS up I see the Acekard logo in the game slot, but when I try to run I get "An error has occured…" 

 

I read Acekard 2i is supposed to run on 3DS 2.1.0 but does that include 2.1.0-4?

 

 

1.Download the files needed to update:AceKard 2i firmware 1.4.3 – Direct Download 

 

2.Extract, you get to files: ak2ifw_update_3ds_v2_DSi (if using a DSi) and ak2ifw_update_3ds_v2_DSL (if using a DSL) 

 

3.Copy the one you need to the root (start) of the sd card 

 

4.Plug your DS(i) to the charger (to avoid any problems if DS runs out of battery while doing the update) 

 

5.on the start of the AKAIO menu, look for the file you copied and press (A) 

 

6.Start menu shows, read precautions. once done press (START) 

 

7.Wait untill the progress bar reaches 100%. It will take a few minutes for this to finish 

 

8.Once the Progress reaches 100%, it will tell you to reboot the DS 

1.It is said Nintendo will updated the 3DS firmware on June 7th. Maybe, most 3DS flashcard will be halt after that update. I don’t konw whether DSi firmware update on that day. If it do, the r4 xl card can’t run either. I think most players want to know the informations.

2.That is why the release date of Acekard 2i DSi1.4.2 updating patch has been delayed I guess.And it is said that there will be a new firmware update for 3DS from Nintendo on June 6th.It will block flashcarts again.

3.Heard of that before, it is said the future 3DS firmware can block all of the current flashcards, but i am sure this won’t last for long , look at the histroy, everytime the new firmware came out ,some cards disappeared and some cards released the update to compatible with the new firmware…..

4.Why do people go spastic when a new firmware update comes out for the DSi or Wii or 3DS. I have not updated the firmware on my DSi at all and I am still able to run games from my flashcard. Why do you people panic and act all retarde

5.Apparently the date for the firmware update was just announced on Nintendo’s website. At least for Japan it’s June 7th, the same day as E3.

I recently received a Nintendo DSi and wanted to know if I could load software on the SD card and play off the SD

Solution:

When you download off the DSi Shop, you can save onto the SD Card.

If you are suggesting putting .nds roms on to the SD Card, no.

If you want to play .nds roms on your DSi. I would recommend an Acekard 2i card. I have one and it is very good! It’s one of the cards that can actually work on the DSi!

Do NOT buy a R4i They do not work and crash a lot! I used to have one!
