Will R4 3DS card compatibility with 3DS Console?

There are too many kinds of R4 3DS flashcards in the market currently. I hear somebody said, few 3DS cards may causebreak to the 3DS console, is it true? I have already bought one from an onlinestore ps3breakr4.com, which can beused smoothly. If the R4 3DS is not safe for the console, we have to take careto use it. But how to distinguish them?

Compatibility with 3DS Console
Several manufacturers have already announced their cards will be playable onthe 3DS console. These manufacturers include the R4i team, as well as Acekard,M3i Zero, EZFlash, and so on. It appears at this time that most cards will beavailable to play without issues.

However, note that just as with the 1.4.1 firmware update, the R4i card in particularrelies on using cheap components (it is usually one of the cheapest / budgetcards available on the market) and therefore will work, but only if a new R4iis bought. The technology to update the firmware of the R4i card is notavailable because it would drastically increase the cost of the card. Therefore, for an updatable card alternatives we could recommend include the Acekard 2i cards and M3i Zero at this time.

Compatibility with 3DS / 3D Games
At this time, it is important to note that all cards that say they can play onthe 3DS, can indeed play – BUT only for existing DS / DS Lite / DSi games. Asbefore, DSiWare games as well as new 3DS games cannot be played using backupcards such as the R4 SDHC v2.10T / R4i SDHC.

Therefore, we conclude that only regular games can be backed up as it currentlystands, and new games in 3D cannot be backed up at this time.

Will Mad Catz Make Sims-inspired accessories ?

We all know how EA’s gone a bit overboard with The Sims. Ever since the company realized the series was a success, our lives have been filled with endless waves of expansion packs, stuff packs, console adaptations and even slightly less desirable spin-offs (The Sims Pet Stories anyone?). Well, now EA has a partner in crime to capitalize on The Sims with real world merchandise – Mad Catz.

The two companies have worked out an agreement. Mad Catz will make all kinds of Sims-inspired accessories and EA will let them. This means the market will likely be inundated with 3DS, DS, PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 Sims stuff before 2011 ends. Poor PSP owners! It looks like you’re left out again. Exact product details weren’t released yet, but I’m sure there’ll be a wide variety of items in that odd shade of lime green. We already know Mad Catz is known for making controllers, accessory kits, cases and faceplates, so we should probably expect to see those in new styles. What I’m really looking forward to is the eventual Sims 3 Play and Charge cable for my PS3 – that will be sweet.

It’s a non-exclusive deal too, so maybe Mad Catz won’t be the only company providing lots of Sims stuff to gamers. I bet EA will see how the initial batch of Sims accessories sells, then determine whether or not to sell out the series even more. 3DS accessories

You Should Buy different Case for Nintendo DS Lite

Don’t think you are done after you buy your favorite Nintendo DS lite because its protection is as necessary for your excitement to last long. Nintendo DS case has outer shell which is hard enough to protect the dual screen in the inside but still it is not safe against the external bumps, pressure, scratch es etc.

When going in to purchase your Nintendo DS case, you should not compromise with the quality of the case, as it is of no use if the case is not strong enough to provide necessary protection needed. Also, make sure that the Nintendo DS case fits perfectly and there is neither enough space left free or neither it becomes too hard for your Nintendo to fit perfectly.

Going in for a bag case is negative as it will not give proper protection in the case when it slips from your hands as these bag cases cannot provide protection against shocks and may harm important internal sensitive parts. Always go for the sturdy cases which you can easily carry along and which provides you with mental satisfaction that your Nintendo DS is safe from small bumps and light falls and that nothing can scratch it when closed.

Also, make sure the Nintendo DS case you choose has extra sockets to keep few games and a stylus inside and that case is not bumpy inside. Don’t go for Nintendo DS case which has too many extra linings and very bulky cases will destroy the sleek looks of the Nintendo DS. Choose the one which is functionally rich, fits perfectly, and is strong enough to last long even if it might cost a bit extra.

Nintendo DSi Features

The 3rd generation DS console, the Nintendo DSi was released on April 5, 2009 on Amazon. com. There’s a few features that make it not the same as its predecessor, the Nintendo DS Lite. The following is a quick overview:

1. Two Digital Cameras.

You will not be upgrading your Nikon or Canon with your NIntendo DS. The machine has two cameras–one on the inner flap for taking snap shots of yourself (how’s that for modesty) and one on the outer flap for taking snap shots of other people and objects. The quality of the pictures aren’t spectacular and would be comparable in quality to photos taken with your mobile phone.

A great feature of the DSi is an application that lets you draw on your pictures with the stylus and kind of enjoying them. There’s also a couple of games that incorporate the photo feature.

2. DSi Audio Application

Due to popular demand from DS Lite consumers the DSi features the ability to play music along with record sound using the microphone. You also have the choice of listening to music saved on a SD card with headsets when the screen is closed.

But the DSi doesn’t play MP3 files, it plays AAC formatted songs. It does not really work the same way as an Ipod, but you can pretend to be a song developer and manipulate the tempo, voice, and pitch of your recordings to form your own unique creations.

3. Internet Browser.

The Internet capabilities connect you to the DSi store so you can download new games and applications to your console as soon as they become available.

If you’re familiar with WiiWare for the Wii, DSiWare is very similar. As for browsing other websites, it’s still a little slow and clunky. You can download the Opera web browser which is available in the DSi store but it isn’t much better than the DSiWare browser that already comes loaded on the console.

Nintendo DSi Pros and Cons
Before you make your final purchase decision, here’s a quick run down of the pros and cons of the DSi when compared to the DS Lite:

PROS

1. Ability to download games via the web browser and DSiWare creates lots of potential for future potential and updates.
2. SD slot enables you to store additional music files and photos. If you want to display some of your crazy photo creations online or print them out you can upload them to your computer.
3. Larger and brighter screen than the DS Lite.

CONS

1. The DSi does not have the ability to play GameBoy Advance games. If you’re a Guitar Hero fan, this could be a total bummer. However, if more games are added to the DSi Store as promised, this could become a moot point eventually.
2. Larger and brighter screen creates a shorter battery life.
3. Sure, it has a web browser but how good is it? And yes–you do need your own wireless connection to use it!
4. The photos you take only really look good on the DSi screen.

Also, don’t forget that with the release of the new DSi there will be plenty of cheap Nintendo DS Lite consoles to be found online. Now may be a good time to buy if you’re interested in purchasing a new unit.
